Our Services
Exams
Comprehensive eye examinations
Our exams include testing for eyeglass prescriptions, binocular vision, and overall ocular health. Eye health testing includes checking for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Digital Retinal Photography
New technology allows us to provide a more thorough analysis of your eye. The retinal imaging system allows early detection of many disorders and allows for future comparison to determine disease progression.
Contact Lens Fitting and Evaluation
We prescribe all types of lenses - soft, disposable, gas permeable, extended wear, astigmatism correcting, bifocal, or crt lenses. Be sure to ask about new developments in contact lenses, even if you were unable to wear lenses in the past.
Medical eye treatment
This includes treatment of eye allergies, infections, dry eye, or other problems that may require prescription medications. We will refer you to the appropriate ophthalmologist if needed.
Laser Vision Correction Co-management
We work with the leading surgeons in the area to ensure the best possible outcome.

Myopia Management
CRT Contact Lenses
New developments in contact lens technology allow us to use special lenses to temporarily correct nearsightedness without surgery. You wear the lenses at night, remove them in the morning, and see during the day without glasses or contacts. Be sure to ask about this new technology.
Multifocal or MiSight Lenses
These are worn during the day time and enable the patient to see clearly at near and far. Children may not see quite as clearly with these contact lenses as other types, but there are no additional risk compared to regular daily contact lenses.
Soft bifocal contact lenses are thought to slow myopia by bending light that enters the eye in a beneficial way. These lenses have been shown to reduce myopia progression on average by about 50 percent.
Atropine Eye Drops
Atropine is an eye drop that typically makes light seem bright because it makes the pupil (the black hole in the middle of the eye) bigger, and blurs near vision because it reduces the ability of the eyes to focus while looking at near. Low concentration atropine has been shown to significantly slow the progression of nearsightedness without increasing pupil size or decreasing near vision dramatically. It is not known how this medication slows myopia development. Low concentration (0.01%) atropine has been shown to slow myopia progression by about 60 percent without increasing pupil size or decreasing near vision dramatically
